Pennsylvania Ave is a 100% wool, two-ply, woolen spun, worsted weight yarn. Each of the plies is a different colorway, and they are spun together for a truly unique yarn. It is kettle dyed in Baltimore and spun at Harrisville Designs in New Hampshire, and the wool is sourced from New Zealand farms that do not practice mulesing. It's the second yarn from Plied Yarn.
This yarn is kettle dyed in small batches, so each batch may be a little bit different, and we recommend buying all of the yarn you need for a project at one time. We also suggest alternating skeins when knitting projects, as each skein is unique.
Pennsylvania Ave has a slight heathered appearance. It has moderate stitch definition (because of the marled colors), and it has medium drape.
