Our Packaging Story

We've been working to make our packaging more sustainable, recyclable, and biodegradable.  If you've purchased from us before, you know that virtually all orders are shipped in boxes; we've upgraded all of our boxes so that they are made from recycled material.  If you've ordered notions or needles, your order may ship in a padded envelope, and we've also upgraded our padded envelopes so that they are made from recycled material.

Plus, we use tissue paper, stickers, and cards to celebrate your purchase, and all of them are made from recycled paper or are fully biodegradable - even the stickers.  

Of course, we always encourage you to further reuse and recycle our packaging, so that it can have a third, or even longer, life.

To do this, we've partnered with a vendor based in Colorado called EcoEnclose.  They are focused on developing more and new types of sustainable packaging, and we are delighted to have found a vendor that operates in keeping with our values.

We've made this change to deliver top-of-the-line customer service to you and to celebrate your knitting or crochet crafting, while still making sure that we are operating in line with our ethical values to support sustainability efforts.
