Fleet

Fleet is a simple sock design designed with Cedar House Yarns Sapling Sock. 

Our Row House Tutorial Design integrates our skills videos via hotlinks in the PDF to teach you how to knit in the round, make a heel flap, turn the heel, and close up the toe of the sock by integrating our knitting skills videos.

If you already know how to knit and purl, it's time to learn how to knit socks!  They are a great project for traveling, and nothing feels better on your feet than handmade socks.  

Cedar House Yarns is a family-owned dye studio based in Washington State.  Jenn is inspired to create colors by nature in the Pacific Northwest.  She carefully sources her fiber to ensure the animals are treated well, and her dye process allows her to reuse water and minimize environmental impact.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:  
8" circumference, 8½" long; sized to fit women’s size 8½ foot (approximately 9" foot circumference, 9½" long).  The length is easily adjustable to accommodate a larger or smaller foot.

GAUGE:
32 sts & 45 rounds = 4" in stockinette st

MATERIALS:
Cedar House Yarns Sapling Sock—1 skein (423 m/463 yds).  Depending upon the length you choose to make the foot and leg, you will use at least ½ of the skein.  Our model is in Northern Sky.
