*** We're still waiting on 2 colors of Loch Lomond, but the rest are here! ***
Loch Lomond is a subtle tweed yarn with beautiful nubby bits. It is woolen spun, making it nice and airy with good yardage. Its rustic nature makes it a great choice for light but toasty sweaters, shawls, hats, and other colder weather accessories. The wool is sourced from mulesing-free farms in South America, and it is spun and dyed in Turkey.
It is GOTS-certified, which means that it is grown, processed, and dyed in an environmentally sustainable way. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification requires that all stages of the production are ecologically, environmentally, and ethically sustainable from start to finish. The growing conditions, dye processes, waste water treatment, and fair and ethical working conditions must meet GOTS standards. GOTS is the only internationally recognized organic certification.
Loch Lomond has medium stitch definition, and good drape.
