Bio Balance (55% wool, 45% cotton)

Bio Balance is a sportweight organic wool and organic cotton blend, and it is a deliciously soft carded yarn in a beautiful range of heathered colors.  It is GOTS-certified, which means that it is grown, processed, and dyed in an environmentally sustainable way.  BC Garn is a Danish family-owned business focused on creating deep color palettes with environmentally-friendly yarns.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification requires that all stages of the production are ecologically, environmentally, and ethically sustainable from start to finish.  The growing conditions, dye processes, waste water treatment, and fair and ethical working conditions must meet GOTS standards. GOTS is the only internationally recognized organic certification.  

Bio Balance has good stitch definition, and good drape.
