Organic Rustic Fingering is a single ply fingering weight yarn made of GOTS certified organic merino wool and is hand dyed in Neighborhood Fiber Company's Baltimore studio.
Subtle color variations are achieved through kettle dyeing. As this yarn is kettle dyed in small batches, each batch may be a little bit different, and we recommend buying all of the yarn you need for a project at one time. We also suggest alternating skeins when knitting projects, as each skein is unique.
Organic Rustic Fingering has a slight halo, good stitch definition, and good drape.
Neighborhood Fiber Company recommends washing in Eucalan wool wash, as they have experienced problems with other wool washes.
