Harmonia is a design from Melissa Leapman, one of the most widely-published American knit and crochet designers at work today.  It is a scarf (or cowl if you sew the ends together) knit with reversible cables, so a different cable pattern appears on each side, and there is no wrong side.  It is knit in a worsted weight yarn.

Our model is in Blue Sky Fibers Suri Merino in Mountain Air.  Suri Merino is a single ply worsted weight blend of 60% of Baby Suri Alpaca and 40% fine Merino wool.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

One size - 8 1/2" by 60", blocked

GAUGE:

36 sts & 32 rows = 10 cm/4 in in the cable pattern, blocked, using 5 mm (US 8) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

MATERIALS:

Worsted weight yarn; we like the effect that a soft halo produces with the cable pattern.  Our recommended yarn is Blue Sky Fibers Suri Merino; we used 4 skeins for our model.
Pattern design uses: Jade Sapphire's Zageo 6-ply (worsted weight; 55 g/150 yds), 5 balls
5 mm (US 8) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
