This scarf is made with an orderly lace rib, which results in an elegant looking fabric. The two-row stitch pattern is a good introduction to lace for beginners, who will be amazed at what they can make with just a few simple stitches. The smaller size is a good all-purpose scarf, and the larger size is luxurious to wrap around your neck multiple times to keep the wind out.
Our model is in Sincere Sheep Luminous DK in Mrs Fisher (2 skeins). We added an extra repeat (in addition to the wider size) and knit until we pretty much ran out of yarn.
