Tramonto is a design from Melissa Leapman, one of the most widely-published American knit and crochet designers at work today. It is an asymmetrical triangle wrap knit using unique tuck stitch patterns for unbelievable color and texture. While the project appears complicated, only one color is used per row. It is knit in a sport weight yarn.
Our model is in Sincere Sheep Cormo Sport in Bare, Cumulus, and Hathor's Gem (1 skein each). Cormo Sport is sourced from a Wyoming ranch, and Sincere Sheep uses all natural dyes in its studio in Napa Valley.
Tramonto is a great way to try out tuck stitches and do colorwork, while only knitting with one color at a time.
