Irish Yearling DK is a DK weight tweed yarn; it is 85% superwash Merino and 15% NEP. It is sourced from farms where “mulesling” is not practiced. Cedar House Yarns develops their colorways inspired by the Pacific Northwest, and they hand-dye their yarns in their studio in Bellingham, Washington.
This yarn is hand dyed in small batches, so each batch may be a little bit different, and we recommend buying all of the yarn you need for a project at one time. We also suggest alternating skeins when knitting projects.
*** Note: Cedar House Yarns has stopped dyeing yarn, so when it's gone, it's gone.***
Irish Yearling DK has good elasticity. It has good stitch definition and good drape.
