A perfect sock yarn - Lamana Merida

We are delighted that we now carry Lamana Merida; it is Lamana's first sock yarn.  Merida is a fingering weight yarn with a bit of polyamide and silk to give your socks (or other garments) a bit of strength.  The merino wool gives Merida some warmth, and it comes in a wide range of colors perfect for all of your projects.

Lamana was founded in Germany in 2010 and works exclusively with owner-managed spinning mills in Italy and Peru, and they attach great importance to the origin of the wool, the treatment of the animals, and the processing and dyeing of the fibers.  We have been excited to get to know Lamana, and their yarns, and to learn more about our common interest in sustainability.
