Meet Greenwood Hill Farm - Our First Undyed Merino Wool
If you've never touched 100% Merino wool, you're in for a treat. Greenwood Hill Farm is based in Hubbardston, Massachusetts, and it is owned by Tom and Andrea Colyer. Tom is a former Naval Captain, and Andrea has been creating her yarns for 25 years.
They raise a registered Merino flock with sheep in 2 different fleece colors - White and Chocolate. You can see exactly what we're talking about in the photo above! Those fleeces are then spun into combinations to create 2 additional colors - Silver and Slate. Aren't they all gorgeous?
Greenwood Hill Farm uses no dye or chemical processing - the wool is just as it comes off the sheep. And they have it milled and spun in Vermont at the Green Mountain Spinnery.
We carry both of Greenwood Hill Farm's yarn weights - DK and Worsted. You'll love knitting with it.

Good Afternoon. I noticed that you will be dooing a workshop at The Fiber Festival on Sunday November 3 but i wont be able to stay for this workshop. Will you have a booth that i can buy the kit that you are doing in the workshop or at least the pattern. Thanks
Natalie
Lindsey at Barlett Yarns told me that Tom Collier may be a resource for colored merino fleece. I would love to get in touch with him.
Thanks
