OMFG Cowl - Free Pattern

This super-simple cowl designed by Karida Collins (co-founder of Plied Yarn and founder of Neighborhood Fiber Company) will have you literally exclaiming, "OMFG!"  This cowl uses Plied's uniquely marled fingering weight yarn (North Ave) to create an ombre that seamlessly fades from one color to the next.  This is the gradient you didn't know you could make but always wanted.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 28-inch circumference and 22 inches long

GAUGE:
14 stitches = 10 cm/4 in in stockinette stitch with yarn held double, blocked

MATERIALS:
4 skeins of Plied Yarn North Ave (197 m/215 yd per 50 gm skein)
Color A: 1 skein
Color B: 2 skeins
Color C: 1 skein
Size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 24" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle, to weave in the ends
